Todos los que le conocían podrían haber jurado que Tomeu Ballester era incapaz de dañar ni a una mosca. Había pillado a su querida mujer, madre de sus dos hijas, en la cama con el vecino de arriba, fontanero de profesión. El dolor fue tan grande que lo paralizó unos días. Al tercer día su mujer se atrevió a confrontarlo: - ¿quieres que nos divorciemos? Tomeu no contestó. Rojo de ira la golpeó con tal fuerza que la sangre manchó su puño. Murió instantáneamente. La mosca.

Alla som kände honom kunde ha svurit att Tomeu Ballester inte kunde skada en fluga.
Han hade avslojad hans älskade hustru, mor till hans två döttrar, i sängen med övervåningens granne, en rörmokare till yrket. Smärtan var så stor att den förlammadehonom i ett par dagar. På den tredje dagen vågade hustrun konfrontera honom - vill du att vi ska skillja oss? Tomeu svarade inte. Röd av vrede slog han henne så hårt att blodet färgade näven. Hon dog omedelbart. Flugan. Everybody who knew him could have sworn that Tomeu Ballester was unable to harm a fly.
He had caught his beloved wife, mother of his two daughters in bed with the upstairs neighbor, a plumber by profession. The pain was so great that it paralised him for a few days. On the third day his wife dared to confront him: - do you want us to get divorced?
Tomeu did not answer. Red with anger hit her so hard that blood stained his fist. She died instantly. The fly. (FLY IS A FEMININE WORD IN SPANISH)
